This project was inspired by Gregor Schneider's work, END, a 14 meter high, black outdoor sculpture. The sculpture was connected to the Museum Abteiberg and served as an alternative entrance. I wanted to provoke feelings of serene yet tension throughout this project. The hollows in the brochure are the theme that give the whole piece a sense of movement. The reenactment video shares the plot of an anxious person trying to escape from the dead silence circumstances. This sullenness creates a sense of tension that END brought to me.
