Sky Factory specializes in creating immersive illusions of nature using advanced visual technology. They design and manufacture products that simulate realistic sky and nature scenes, enhancing indoor environments with therapeutic and aesthetic benefits. During my tenure at the company, I participated in the redesign of the website to address long-standing issues with its outdated layout, transforming it into a visually coherent and immersive experience.

Problem
Problem:
Since 2002, the Sky Factory website has remained unchanged, resulting in an outdated design that struggles to meet modern user expectations. The old layout straightforwardly presents information but lacks a clear visual hierarchy, making it difficult for users to quickly scan and find relevant information. Text-heavy sections and scattered images contribute to a cluttered layout, with various sections not clearly distinguished.

The revised page appears more spacious and visually more comfortable, making it easier to read the information on each page. I was responsible for designing the wireframes of the revised page.

The improved page has clearer information. I was responsible for the color selection, images, and page design. The dark color not only highlights the features of the product but also provides an immersive feeling.

The original dark background with light text is less visually appealing and can be harder to read for some users.
I revised the page from a low-fidelity wireframe to high-fidelity prototypes, and it was implemented in the final version.
The text stands out against the background, making it easy to read. "Join our mailing list" is displayed in the center with clear instructions and an email field. I kept the design simple and direct to encourage immediate action, focusing on a single task to reduce cognitive load and enhance user experience. I designed the sky background with birds to evoke a sense of freedom and openness, creating a positive emotional response.
